Oilers claim F Ryan Jones off waivers from Preds

they have claimed forward Ryan Jones off waivers from the Nashville Predators.
The 25-year-old Jones had seven goals and four assists in 41 games with the
Predators this year. He posted seven goals and 10 assists in 46 games as a
rookie last year after being selected in the fourth round of the 2004 draft by
Minnesota.
Jones was acquired by Nashville on July 1, 2008 along with a second-round pick
for defenseman Marek Zidlicky.
